About Me!

Hi there! I’m Paige.

I started this blog as a way to carve out my own little corner of the internet. Reading has always been a huge part of my life, and it seems as though writing is a natural progression forward from a love of words. I intend to use this space to share my thoughts, both personal and analytical, on whatever book I’m reading at the moment!

As I’m sure many people do, I oftentimes struggle to find the right words when I am speaking. I feel as though I say the wrong thing, don’t get the chance to say what I’m thinking, or simply come up blank. Writing has been nothing short of a lifeline for someone like me. There is something so cathartic about being able to sit down and take the time to formulate my thoughts, without the added pressure of brevity and conformity placed on us as we speak with others.

But don’t get me wrong! I speak allllll day long at work! I am a toddler teacher at a local early childhood education center, and am so incredibly passionate about my work and my kids. They have taught me more than I ever thought possible, and through all the tears and diaper changes and tantrums, I find so much pride in creating learning opportunities, and helping kids use their voices, as I wish I had been courageous enough to do at a young age.

More filler information about me; I am a lover of Lord of the Rings and airplanes. I received my Private Pilot’s certificate in December of 2024 and am filling various gift wish lists with Lego Barad-Dûr sets and model airplane kits.

I hope you will find something to relate to in my posts. I try and take my time with them, so if there are significant gaps in how frequently I post, know it is not due to forgetfulness, but because I am trying to make every word count 🙂
